Work Life
Nick has lived in West Tennessee for most of his adult life. After serving in the United States Army on a four year contract, Nick moved to New Albany, Mississippi in 2012, where he worked for about a year as a Multi-Skilled maintenance technician. In Fall of 2013, Nick moved to the Memphis area after taking a position at Mitsubishi Electric as an Advanced Maintenance Technician. Nick remained there into the beginning of the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic. Nick has since been a District Property Director with the YMCA in Memphis. For most of his life, Nick’s passion and skills have been in the maintenance field and fixing issues around him. Nick’s next mission is to fix our broken government.
Volunteer Life
Nick has always been called to serve others. In middle school, he volunteered in the nursery of his church. In High school, he was a middle school small group leader. In his adult life, Nick has worked with multiple non-profits serving areas he has personal ties to. Following his daughter’s cancer diagnosis in 2013, Nick put hundreds of hours of time and effort volunteering with St. Jude Childrens Research hospital in Memphis, helping raise over $300,000 over 4 years. Since 2017, Nick has been a volunteer with Irreverent Warriors, leading the local effort starting in 2019 to Bring Veterans Together and Prevent Veteran Suicide.
